THB Board of Directors

THB is governed by a Board of Directors of up to 9 members that are elected annually for a 3-year term.  Officers are elected from within the Board to 1-year terms at the first meeting of the Board in July each year.

Bruce Panilaitis, President

Bruce is an active member of the community, formerly serving as a member and Chair of the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen. He was one of the small group of members from Tewksbury Congregational Church that first formed THB. Bruce was also active in youth sports in town, serving on the Board of Directors of Tewksbury Boys Basketball, Tewksbury Youth Lacrosse, and coaching soccer. lacrosse, basketball, & baseball over the past 20+ years. 

Rick Hamm, Vice President

Rick joined the THB team at its earliest stages.  Rick is a former member of the Tewksbury Fire Department, and an active member of the community.


In addition to his role as Vice President, Rick serves as the Project Manager for our builds.

James Kenney, Treasurer

Jim was one of the first members of Tewksbury Congregational Church to join the effort for the first Habitat build in Tewksbury.  Jim retired in 2011 from his work with the Air Force Research Laboratory at Hanscom AFB.


In addition to his role as Treasurer, Jim was the first President of THB and currently serves as the Volunteer Coordinator.

Susan Panilaitis, Clerk

Sue is an active member of Tewksbury Congregational Church as well as the Director of Christian Education there. She was one of a small group of TCC members that formed THB. In addition to her work at the church, Sue works as a reading specialist in the Lowell Public Schools.  Sue regularly volunteers in the community, serving in several positions over the years in the Heath Brook and Trahan PAC. Sue also served on the Board of Directors of Tewksbury Youth Lacrosse League.

Vincent Fratalia, Member

Vinny is a member of the Tewksbury Planning Board, and a long-time resident of Tewksbury. Vinny provides significant volunteer work throughout town.


Vinny currently serves as the Project Manager for our Partnership with Soldier On and the Veteran's Project on Main Street.

Patricia Meuse, Member

Patty is a member of the Shawsheen Tech School Committee, and a long-time resident of Tewksbury. Patty has served in many roles and volunteered throughout town.


John Stadtman, Member

John joined the THB team in 2018.


He served as a member of the School Committee and has been a Tewksbury resident for 18 years with his wife Sue and two sons Jack and Matthew.
